Receiving Your Level 1 - Early Childhood Educator Certificate

The Certification process used by the Government of Alberta follows the steps listed below:

• Read the Certification Guide for Early Childhood Educators .
• Complete the application ONLINE. Attach your Letter of Completion to your online application as advised on the certification website.
• Please note that if you do not complete your Orientation Course within one year of applying for certification you will have to redo the course.
